“Operation: Cooperation Waterloo Region” is a group of volunteers from municipal governments, broader public and private sector and non-profit organizations in Waterloo Region uniting to work together to deliver a coordinated response to the Mennonite Central Committee’s request for hygiene supplies for Haiti.

As the devastation from the Haiti earthquake continues to unfold Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is undertaking a multimillion dollar, multiyear response to provide emergency assistance and long-term rebuilding and trauma support.

Now through February 28, in addition to cash donations, MCC is asking for 20,000 relief kits, 10,000 heavy comforters and 10,000 flat sheets. Relief kits provide valuable supplies to families traumatized by the earthquake.
